Generations of the 3 Series.
BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi has the privilege of produce one of the most successful BMW models in the history of the brand. The 3 Series is an iconic car that essentially redefined the Sport Sedan as a segment in the automotive market.
First unveiled at the 1975 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, the BMW 3 Series has developed into both the brand’s most successful model range and an international bestseller. And that makes the 3 Series a highly effective global ambassador for BMW’s core attributes.
The 7th generation of 3 Series started production at the Munich plant, followed by China, and currently in San Luis Potosí.
