BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX Announces Special Events Surrounding 2023 Tournament.

Greenville, S.C.  The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX is pleased to announce two special events taking place during its 2023 tournament, which will occur June 5-11 at Thornblade Club and The Carolina Country Club.

The Amy Alcott & Friends Women’s Golf Clinic and Luncheon presented by HKA Enterprises will be held at The Carolina Country Club and Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg on Tuesday, June 6, and the Sustainability Summit presented by The Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities at Furman University in partnership with Piedmont Natural Gas will take place at Bon Secours Wellness Arena on Friday, June 9.

“We look forward to bringing these two special events to the upstate as part of our ongoing efforts to foster important conversations about leadership, sustainability and the future of our community,” said Bob Nitto, president of South Carolina Charities Inc., the non-profit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am. “While we continue to raise money and awareness for upstate charities, these events allow us to further engage the business community as we work together to make a positive impact in South Carolina for years to come.”

The Amy Alcott & Friends Women’s Golf Clinic and Luncheon presented by HKA Enterprises will feature a golf clinic led by LPGA Hall of Fame golfer Amy Alcott. Instruction will be available for all levels, and beginners are encouraged to attend. Following the clinic, attendees will enjoy mingling, mimosas and shopping from local vendors. The event will conclude with a luncheon and panel discussion about golf in business featuring Alcott, Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin, sports radio and TV personality Ann Liguori, and Black Girls Golf Founder and CEO Tiffany Mack Fitzgerald. Golf Channel personality Lauren Thompson will moderate the panel discussion. Proceeds from the event will benefit the First Tee of the Upstate girls’ golf program and Black Girls Golf.
